Three-Masters and a Tjalk at Sea by Thomas Sewell Robins
$39.00
Print only, frame not included
A three-masted ship and a smaller sailing barge lean into the wind as they cross a rough green sea under towering gray clouds. In the foreground a buoy rocks in the waves, gulls skim the water, and more sails are visible on the horizon.
Thomas Sewell Robins painted this sea view in watercolor. The Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam, titles it three-masters and a tjalk, a Dutch sailing barge, sailing on the open sea, and dates it to 1830–1880. The sheet is shown whole, with plain paper added at the edges to reach the format.
Lab-printed to order on luster photo paper, in a wide 2:3 format: 8×12, 12×18, 16×24, 20×30, 24×36 and 40×60 inches. A lively seascape for a living room, an office or a beach house.
